Hewitt Card employs approximately 20 staff from their Mansfield offices. Every client will be assigned specific staff to be responsible for their well being.

Alex Gilbert BSc

I am originally from the Mansfield area and joined Hewitt Card after graduating from Hull University in 2007.

Away from work my interests are sport (basketball, football, Formula 1), holidays and spending time with family and friends, especially at BBQ's during the summer months.

Amy Newton

I have lived in Mansfield all my life and I really like the area. My interests include watching movies and walking my dogs in the woods. I try as much as possible, when the weather's nice, to get out into the great outdoors. I have worked for Hewitt Card since 2010.

Ashley Holmes FCCA

Away from the office I like to spend time relaxing with my family, listening to the Foo Fighters and watching sport (Liverpool FC, Formula 1 and Darts). I am currently trying to get my creaking body back into shape ready to run some half marathons/marathons in the near future.

 

Clare Barnett

I have been a member of the team at Hewitt Card since 2001.

Out of work I love spending time with my family and friends. Holidays are a must in our household as is spending time outdoors in general and having a keen interest for anything which has wheels! Summer weekends are spent supporting my husband at cycling events – an interest which is already rubbing off on our young son. Woods walks with our dogs are a daily thing and the more mud the merrier!

 

George Butler BSc

Having many years experience from working in both private practice and industry my current role involves advising a wide range of family and SME businesses.

Away from the office I enjoy cycling, both road and mountain biking, and in fact pretty much anything outdoors spending as much time as possible in the Peaks and Lake District.

Helen Boulton

I have been a member of the team at Hewitt Card since 2002. Away from the office my spare time is spent playing golf with my family. During the golfing season we travel all over the country going to various events that either my son or daughter are competing in. I also enjoy watching movies and reading books.

 

James Card FCCA

I have been at Hewitt Card since 1999

My true passions are racing cars and skiing I can think of nothing better than jumping in my race car and competing against other drivers or strapping my ski boots on and throwing myself down black runs.

Both of these would obviously be finished off with a few beers with friends in the evening reminiscing about the days’ fun.

James Hanser CTA

I have worked in the Tax department here at Hewitt Card since March 2009.  I thoroughly enjoy my job particularly when we help mitigate our clients tax liabilities.

Outside of work I am a member at my local golf club and try and play as often as possible. Each year I have a golfing holiday abroad with friends where I compete for a trophy (called ‘The Bandit’).

Away from the golf course I support Notts County a club I have followed for many years, hopefully next season will be our year!

When I’m not playing golf or watching football I enjoy spending time with my partner & family, we often eat at nice restaurants and try and fit as many holidays into the year as possible.

Jay Divine

I have lived in the Mansfield area since being born. I have a bubbly personality and I enjoy socialising, shopping and dancing. I am currently studying the final level of the AAT and have worked for Hewitt Card since 2007.

 

Jenny Hand

I was born in Mansfield and now live near Chesterfield. I am married with two grown up sons.. I have a lifelong love of sailing. I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, playing my keyboard, reading and gardening.

 

Jenny Horne MAAT

I have worked at Hewitt Card since 2000 and moved into the tax department in 2004.

Outside of work my main interests are centered around my dogs. I have owned Bearded Collies for many years, competing with them in conformation shows and working events. Our favourite place for holidays with the dogs is the Northumbrian coast.

 

Judith Hill FCCA

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and holidays are an important family time for me.  Whether it be a holiday abroad or camping for a long week end in this country.

 

I also enjoy sports although these days it is more watching rather than doing.  Pottering round the garden is also an enjoyable pastime.

 

Julie Hayward FCCA

I have worked in a variety of accountancy roles since leaving school and have worked both in private practice & industry.

My interests outside of accountancy include plenty of travel – to see and enjoy as much of the world as possible.

I am also a big fan of Formula 1 racing and always ensure I get a grandstand seat at the British Grand Prix. My ideal would be to do the same at the Monaco Grand Prix!

Another passion is Liverpool FC and I try and get to see them at Anfield as much as possible.

And finally I have a passion for SHOPPING ! It would therefore be my dream to travel to Monaco, see the F1, get in as much shopping as possible in the lovely French boutiques , travel onto Italy to watch Liverpool in the UEFA cup final against Milan before doing a final shop in the design houses of Italy.

 

Lynne Holmes ATT

Away from the office I love spending time with my husband and daughter. I also enjoy reading, doing puzzles and watching sport, especially tennis, football and cricket.

 

Maria Medus BA(Hons)

I am originally from Hertfordshire and moved up to Derbyshire twenty years ago. I have a daughter studying GCSE's. I have worked for Hewitt Card since 2007 and prior to that I owned and ran my own Post Office. I have recently achieved an Honours Degree in Art History. I enjoy long walks in the Peak District, theatre, galleries and eating out.

 

Richard Hudson FCCA

I have worked with Hewitt Card since 1995 qualifying as an ACCA member in 1998.  The main part of my work is for SME Limited Company clients advising on both compliance and more commercial matters. 

Away from work I prefer to spend time with my family, ideally outdoors and near the sea, although I also enjoy cycling when the weather is fine.

Rodger Card FCCA, FCA

I am now part of the fixtures and fittings at Hewitt Card and work closely with a small number of clients helping them with business decisions.

I am interested in anything with four wheels as well as most competitive sports. In particular I get real enjoyment from my racing car and playing golf.

Sue Palmer MAAT

I have been at Hewitt Card since 2002 and away from the office I enjoy walking and cycling in the Peak District. I love eating out, going on relaxing holidays and enjoy painting as well as anything to do with crafts.

 

Val Tatterson

I’m married to Andrew and have two grown up sons Martin and Oliver, we moved to Mansfield in 1979.  I have completed my Duke of Edinburgh Gold award and I very much enjoy walking as well as most kinds of sport, going to the cinema, holidays and having meals with friends and family. I have been working for Hewitt Card since December 2002 and I am based in the reception as an administrator on a part time basis.

Yvonne Card

I have worked at Hewitt Card for over 20 years now and still enjoy most days!

A perfect day off for me is a couple of hours walking at Hardwick Hall , an afternoon of retail therapy, and  followed by good food and wine  with friends and family.

More than one day off and I'm thinking where can I go (there is a reason why they call me Judith Chalmers !) I love all foreign travel, ski-ing, sightseeing or just soaking up the sun.
